Path Finder Outplacement Service € 1,595 + VAT

Our Path Finder Outplacement Service is an excellent package that covers the ‘basics’ of job hunting, along with more advanced support in the areas of Interview Technique and Assessment Centres. It also provides to the individual flexible content and the option of either three ‘face to face’ sessions or two ‘face to face’ sessions and unlimited telephone support for up to 6 months. This can be further enhanced to include greater face to face meetings and 12 months unlimited telephone support included in the Extended Pathfinder Service Go0407 Path Finder08

This flexibility we know is greatly appreciated by candidates who go through this package, with most opting for the two ‘face to face’ sessions and the extended support. By doing so they are provided with access to an experienced Outplacement Consultant who is there to offer advice and support, and a ‘comfort blanket’.

The content of the sessions is ‘open format’ however for most the first ‘face to face’ session covers all the ‘basic’ steps an individual will need to look at in their hunt for a new job. Things such as:

  • CV writing and 'fine tuning' including optimising it for both online CV databases and making it easier to read and understand
  • Where to look for jobs including getting the Internet to work for them, lodging their CV with Internet CV databases, and registering with (and advice on) Internet Job Sites
  • Applying for jobs, and how to tailor a covering letter to accompany a job application
  • Self Employment and re-training
  • Advice on marketing one self to prospective employers including identifying transferable skills and determining other potential employment markets
  • Advice on which agencies to register with and how to 'encourage' them to work with them as an individual

The second session (approximately 10 to 14 days later) again has an ‘open’ agenda, but areas we suggest we cover include:

  • Looking at and reviewing current job seeking activities - and refocussing where necessary
  • Handling difficult interview questions and Competency based interviews. This is done in a very practical way, our Outplacement Consultant interviewing the individual around ‘common’ questions, and feeding back on how they are projecting both themselves, their skill and experience by their answers
  • How to handle an Assessment Centre - if they are likely to undertake such an event.
  • Psychometric Testing - we offer to the individual prior to this session the opportunity to take a Psychometric Personality Profile to try and identify how being made released from their job is reflected in such profiles. The support we then provide is advice and guidance on how to handle ‘test related’ feedback interviews and likely questions they may be asked.
  • Psychometric Testing - advice on the types of exercises companies use and how to approach such exercises

Should the individual opt for a third ‘face to face’ session, the agenda is completely open.

This is an ideal package for employees requiring 1-2-1 support or as and executive outplacement or management outplacement package.

Face to face sessions last 3.5 hours and the first session will be delivered within 5 working days of assignment, held locally in a Business Centre.
